Description

The October birthstone, opal is known as the gemstone of emotion and creativity. A stunningly beautiful cabochon cut opal resides at the heart of this Anthony Lent Crescent Moonface Reflection ring, set in glowing 18 karat yellow gold, accented by petite white diamonds. The Crescent Moonface, like Anthony Lent's Moonface motif is also an iteration of a classic image from 19th century illustration. His perspective is reminiscent of Maxfield Parrish, N. C. Wyeth, and the early animation of Winsor McCay. This ring is part of Lent's Celestial collection, which tells a story about the sun, the moon, and the stars, a journey through the heavens and through the history of Tony's art, a story that has evolved over time, because, as Tony points out, some images just stay with you.
