Mad et Len scented candles are shaped and hand-poured one by one in France, using a paraffin-free natural vegetable wax blend, an organic cotton wick, and artisanal fragrances.
The apothecary candle is distinguished by its case: a hand-hammered black iron container that protects the wax from light. Once the wax has burned down, the iron pot becomes a lasting receptacle, true to the spirit of repurposing used by apothecaries of old—the object survives the flame.
