Bold and earthy, this large turquoise ring from Emily Amey is a real stunner. It features an 8.25ct organic oval turquoise center, flanked by small round turquoise dots accented with tiny black diamonds, all set in warm 14k yellow gold bezels atop Emily’s signature sterling silver band. The unique gemstones and mixed metals create a sculptural, one-of-a-kind feel that’s both grounded and fashion-forward.

Turquoise, one of the December birthstones, is celebrated for protection, good fortune, and positive energy, while black diamonds symbolize strength and clarity. This ring is a statement piece full of color, texture, and artistry—perfect solo or layered in a modern ring stack with other bands.

About the Designer

Emily Amey

Emily Amey is a New York–based jeweler with a fiercely independent spirit. Raised in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and studying metalsmithing at FIT in New York, she found her calling in jewelry design. A passionate traveler, collector, gardener, and interior designer, Emily’s many loves naturally weave into her work. Drawn to rich, bold color, she travels the world in search of gemstones that tell a story. Emily’s pieces embody an organic, handmade spirit. She works intuitively, sculpting wax into fluid, one-of-a-kind forms that let each one of a kind gemstone shine. Committed to sustainability, she uses recycled precious metals and ethically sourced stones whenever possible. Every stage of production, from design to finished piece, is completed domestically, with much of the work handcrafted in her Hudson Valley studio.
