We're obsessed with this bright, playful mixed-gemstone band from designer Emily Amey. It features a 1ct east-west set oval opal flanked by round tsavorite garnets and pink sapphires, all set in warm 14k yellow gold bezels. The row of gemstones sits atop a textured square-profile sterling silver band, creating a sculptural, hand-crafted silhouette that’s playful yet refined.

Opal, the October birthstone, is celebrated for creativity and emotional balance; tsavorite garnet, a vibrant green, is linked to abundance and growth; and pink sapphire inspires love, wisdom, and compassion. This mixed-metal opal, garnet, and sapphire ring is perfect for a colorful, fashion-forward stack or worn solo to let the vibrant stones shine.

About the Designer

Emily Amey

Emily Amey is a New York–based jeweler with a fiercely independent spirit. Raised in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and studying metalsmithing at FIT in New York, she found her calling in jewelry design. A passionate traveler, collector, gardener, and interior designer, Emily’s many loves naturally weave into her work. Drawn to rich, bold color, she travels the world in search of gemstones that tell a story. Emily’s pieces embody an organic, handmade spirit. She works intuitively, sculpting wax into fluid, one-of-a-kind forms that let each one of a kind gemstone shine. Committed to sustainability, she uses recycled precious metals and ethically sourced stones whenever possible. Every stage of production, from design to finished piece, is completed domestically, with much of the work handcrafted in her Hudson Valley studio.
