Sarah Swell
Raised in coastal New England, Sarah Swell grew up surrounded by art, history, weathered landscapes, and the steady presence of the Atlantic Ocean. While studying painting at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, she enrolled in a metalsmithing course on a whim and immediately fell in love with the medium. It was love at first flame. Later, moving to Northern California to pursue studies in jewelry, Sarah became equally captivated by the landscape and creative culture of the Bay Area, where her work is still made today. Each piece is designed and crafted with the intention that it will be lived in, cherished, and eventually passed down.
