Vallée de Farney draws inspiration from a wild nature preserve on the island of Mauritius, where Louis Marie once explored the native forests and documented rare plant species. This vivid scent opens with a bright burst of grapefruit and orange, spiked with black pepper. Earthy patchouli and vetiver unfold over a clean, mineral base — a sunlit, atmospheric blend that’s both invigorating and grounded.

Our diffuser utilizes exceptional quality fragrance oils and is alcohol free. To achieve optimum results, remove the bottle stopper and place the reeds in the bottle on a flat and stable surface. The diffuser will release the illustrious Vallée de Farney fragrance for around 3 months and to enhance the fragrance from time to time simply flip the reeds over.

Maison Louis Marie is the result of a long, storied family history with scent, beginning with Louis Marie Aubert du Petit Thouars: a pioneer in French botanical history, he was exiled to Madagascar, La Reunion, and the Mauritius islands during the French Revolution. There, he discovered a vast array of plant specimens, collecting over 2000 to bring back to France ten years later. Home again at last, he was elected a member of the prestigious Académie des Sciences. The collaboration between Marie and her husband Matthew Berkson has allowed them to expand Maison Louis Marie’s reach. Together, they’re committed to the business of clean beauty and non-toxic fragrances.
